Summary of Position

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for actively participating in the development and delivery of consulting projects

Education & Work Experience

  • BA or BS with 1+ years of relevant experience
  • MBA with limited relevant experience

Industry Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of the biopharma industry and healthcare market
  • Proactive efforts in expanding knowledge of relevant market dynamics

Domain Expertise

  • Basic knowledge of market access and reimbursement for healthcare goods and services
  • Basic knowledge of drug development process and pathways in the US vs Global markets

Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Effectively aligns findings with project objectives
  • Ability to translate key market research findings into graphics and appealing illustrations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues with projects teams and clients, when needed

Quantitative Skills

  • Demonstrated analytical ability with data sources and/or large data spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and/or other analytical delivery tools

Qualitative Skills

  • Adept at secondary research and creation of simple market research discussion guides
  • Adept at collecting information using basic primary research methodologies
  • Assists in development and planning of project deliverables

Project Execution

  • Execution of essential secondary and select primary research and analysis under guidance from project lead
  • Produces accurate and precise work
  • Works efficiently and meets deadlines
  • Assists in the development and planning of project deliverables
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in teams, having a genuine interest in life-sciences

Client Interaction & Management

  • Strong ability in building credibility with external and internal contacts critical to the project
  • Supports and builds relationships with members of the client team
  • Assists in communicating on client deliverables

Business Development

  • Preparatory research exploring and examining emerging and mature life-science technologies and markets
  • Assists in proposal development
  • Assist in targeting research of new business opportunities

Team Work and Leadership

  • Supportive and contributes to the overall team
  • Proactive, cooperative and takes responsibility for workstreams
  • Presents a self-confident, positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task within a team environment

Project P&L

  • Has good awareness of consulting business metrics such as project pricing, timelines, resource allocation and costParticipates in the development of project scope, pricing, and resource allocation

Development Goals for Advancement

  • Semi-annual and annual performance reviews
  • End of project feedback
  • Increase expertise and experience across a wide spectrum of projects and client deliverables
